R140 Stages in Humans (Quick Turn)

Stage 1

12 hours after the bite, flu-like symptoms begin. Lasting 48 hrs.

Stage 2

Black out madness, foaming at the mouth, the urge to bite, the fear of water. The infected spread the disease. Lasting 7 to 10 days.

Stage 3

Personality vanishes and insanity fills the eyes, but memories retain on how to open doors. Adrenaline and testosterone levels skyrocket. The infected are hyper aggressive and intensely strong. They sense no pain. They frenzy pack hunt and beat their prey like enraged adult male chimpanzees. They hunt by sight and sound. Males of prime age often cause fatalities to their victims. Females and male children are effective in spreading virus through biting. Biting of flesh can turn to eating. Lasting about 2 weeks for individuals who were healthy prior to infection.

Stage 4

The bodies grow septic. Movement slow and uncoordinated. With declining brain function, fatal attacks dwindle, but their bites spread the virus further.

Stage 5

Catastrophic system failure. Death.
