Remember Peter Sullivan mentioning Nine Meals in Book One? Well, I did not pull that out of my ... um, hat. It's a real thing. A future ELE book entitled Outside the Zone will see this in all its intensity, as it is about the families of the core characters dealing with the onset of this horrendous virus. Interesting, Nine Meals never mentioned anything about toilet paper!
