KILLER “zombie” drug Flakka from coronavirus-hit Wuhan is being sold to Brits on Google despite the substance causing the death of a woman in Devon, The Sun Online can reveal.

Andrea Horvathova, 23, died from a lethal cocktail of substances which included the man-made psycho-stimulant Flakka which makes users eat live mice and gouge eyeballs out.

The drug is made in Wuhan, which is the city at the centre of the coronavirus outbreak

A Sun Online investigation found the zombie drug is available to buy from a number of websites

A Sun Online investigation found the drug, which is the street name of Alpha-PVP, can be bought online after searching its name into Google.

On the first page over 31,800,000 results pop up and internet users are given a selection of international websites to buy the illegal drug from.

The majority of websites claim that the chemicals for sale are for “research” and “manufacturing”.

The hallucinatory substance is made in China and shipped from ports in Hong Kong while others are transported from the US.

PSYCHO-STIMULANT DRUG

The main city in China where the illegal drugs are being bought from is Wuhan, where the coronavirus epidemic began earlier this year.

Current figures show coronavirus has killed more than 500 people with tens of thousands of people infected by the deadly bug.

Flakka is being made in the city and according to various websites they can ship it out immediately and to any location.

The drug, which is hidden in plain sight, requires no entry to the dark web or even bitcoin to make the purchase.

Some “manufacturing” websites even allow free membership to make it easier and quicker to purchase the drug.

The chemical, used as a party drug, causes euphoria along with paranoid delusions, hallucinations, anxiety as well as bizarre and violent behaviour.

Customer Review

Users have been known to eat live mice, gouge out eyeballs and turn cannibal.

One of the companies online stated that the drug is illegal for sale in the UK but did not stop the purchase when the shipping address stated the UK.

The websites take payment via Money Gram, Western Union and by wire transfer.

One website even stated that the package will be in an “aluminium foil bag, then will be put into a toy.”

By hiding the illegal drugs in a toy, they could easily pass through customs in the UK and abroad.

Several customers have left comments on the websites including one customer who wrote: “I need this ASAP.”

Another customer wrote on another chemical supplier’s website: “Potent and very worthwhile... I’m completely satisfied as a customer.”

BRIT WOMAN DIES

Ms Horvathova passed away in hospital after a drug-fuelled house party in Plymouth, Devon, in March 2018.

An inquest heard how the reveller had Flakka - also known as bath salts - in her system.

The Sun Online visited Andrea's hometown of Plymouth, where locals spoke of terrifying 'zombie-like' drug users stalking parts of the genteel town's West End.

Helen, one of the council’s civic enforcement officers, sees the problem every day on her street parking beat.

She said: “They’re everywhere. It is like zombie town round here some days.

“You can literally see them walking around, eyes closed, arms stretched out in front of them.

“It’s hard to be sure whether it’s the drink or the drugs but it’s probably both.”

Jay Weston, a 40-year-old homeless man who has served time in prison, told The Sun Online that Flakka is one among many psycho-stimulants which are attractive "because they are so cheap".

He added: "Some of the kids have absolutely no idea of the strength of what they’re taking.

"You see them in the city centre, especially at weekends, walking around like zombies.

"Flakka may be new but it isn’t difficult to obtain. You can easily buy speed-type drugs like that on the internet."

The drug has been linked to a string of chilling attacks in the US after apparently turning users into cannibals.

What is Flakka?

Flakka is an alpha-pyrrolidinopentiophenone (alpha-PDP) drug, a new version of bath salts.

Usually made in China, Flakka is said to give users a feeling of euphoria and a heightened sense of awareness.

The drug can give users an appearance of having super strength while also significantly heating up body temperature to more than 41 degrees.

Other complications include elevated blood pressure as well as potentially causing a stroke or heart attack.

The synthetic drug be horrifically dangerous and addictive for users.

Forensic toxicologists have said the drug is a mix between potent hallucinogens like LSD and stimulants like ice.

The drug is banned in the United Kingdom, as well as in other countries including France, Germany, Ireland and Sweden.
